Malaysia Airlines’ NDC connection to be available on the APG Platform, APG’s NDC portal.

The APG Network (“APG”) will be holding its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 23-25 April 2024. The convening of the AGM in Kuala Lumpur is significant in that it is the first time that the AGM is being held in the Asia-Pacific region bringing together over 100 delegates from Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

APG SELECTED BY ASIANA AIRLINES AS GSA IN MALAYSIA

APG is proud to announce its appointment as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Asiana Airlines in Malaysia. APG will be responsible for a comprehensive range of sales and marketing activities for Asiana Airlines in Malaysia, including the promotion of the airline’s extensive route network, fare offerings, and customer service enhancements. This strategic partnership is expected to drive significant growth for Asiana Airlines in the region.

Starting from 12 September 2024, Asiana Airlines will launch a daily direct flight between Kota Kinabalu and Incheon. This service will be operated using an A321NEO aircraft, offering 188 seats—8 in Business Class and 180 in Economy Class. Flight OZ7385 will depart Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 23:10, arriving in Incheon at 05:15 the next day. The return flight, OZ7375, will leave Incheon at 17:45, landing in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 22:00.

In addition, Asiana Airlines offers daily flights between Singapore and Incheon during the summer schedule. Starting from October 27, 2024, to March 29, 2025, this route will increase to double daily during the winter schedule. These flights are operated with A350 aircraft, featuring 311 seats—28 in Business Smartium, 36 in Economy Smartium, and 247 in Economy Class.
Both flights from Malaysia and Singapore provide seamless connections to 59 destinations, including 7 domestic points in South Korea, 39 cities across Asia, 5 cities in the USA, 6 cities in Europe, and 2 cities in Oceania.

TAP Air Portugal, the flag carrier of Portugal, is now available in the APG Platform, APG’s NDC portal. Under this agreement, APG Platform and TAP Portugal provide a full ticketing solution for more than 1500 travel agencies in 120 countries.
