MALAYSIA AIRLINES CONTENT TO BE AVAILABLE ON APG PLATFORM

Malaysia Airlines’ NDC connection to be available on the APG Platform, APG’s NDC portal.

APG, the world's largest and most successful airline representation network with over 100 offices globally, is partnering with Malaysia Airlines, Malaysia’s national carrier and oneworld alliance to make available Malaysia Airlines’ full content via the APG NDC platform.

“Malaysia Airlines is a respected global brand with a rich legacy, and we are honoured to welcome them soon to the APG Platform,” said Emilie Biggerstaff, APG NDC Executive Product Director, at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysia Airlines alongside the MATTA Travel Fair, Malaysia’s largest consumer travel fair in Kuala Lumpur on Friday 18 April 2025. APG Network APAC Regional Vice President, Tunku Iskandar was also present to witness the signing.

She added, “This partnership is a testament to our shared vision of reshaping airline distribution by unlocking the full potential of the NDC – New Distribution Capability introduced by IATA. Together, we aim to offer unprecedented reach, commercial flexibility, and value to the global travel trade, from traditional agents to modern e-commerce players.”

With 36 carriers available, offering the best fares, APG Platform is a ticketing platform which can assist travel agents to generate additional revenue by enlarging their catalogue and by selling air and non- air ancillaries combined. Uniquely, the APG Platform is promoted and supported in over 150 countries by the APG Network. The APG Platform is under the newest XML technology and follows all IATA standards.

With APG Platform, NON-IATA and IATA agencies can find the best offers in full transparency on all the routes operated by an airline. APG NETWORK CONVENES AGM FIRST TIME IN MALAYSIA

The APG Network (“APG”) will be holding its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 23-25 April 2024. The convening of the AGM in Kuala Lumpur is significant in that it is the first time that the AGM is being held in the Asia-Pacific region bringing together over 100 delegates from Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

APG is the world's largest and most successful airline representation network with over 100 offices worldwide and partnering with over 200 valued airline clients.

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Malaysia Hon. Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan will welcome the 150+ international delegates and guests at the Mini Forum to be held on 24 April at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

APG SELECTED BY ASIANA AIRLINES AS GSA IN MALAYSIA

APG is proud to announce its appointment as the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Asiana Airlines in Malaysia. APG will be responsible for a comprehensive range of sales and marketing activities for Asiana Airlines in Malaysia, including the promotion of the airline’s extensive route network, fare offerings, and customer service enhancements. This strategic partnership is expected to drive significant growth for Asiana Airlines in the region.

Starting from 12 September 2024, Asiana Airlines will launch a daily direct flight between Kota Kinabalu and Incheon. This service will be operated using an A321NEO aircraft, offering 188 seats—8 in Business Class and 180 in Economy Class. Flight OZ7385 will depart Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 23:10, arriving in Incheon at 05:15 the next day. The return flight, OZ7375, will leave Incheon at 17:45, landing in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah at 22:00.

In addition, Asiana Airlines offers daily flights between Singapore and Incheon during the summer schedule. Starting from October 27, 2024, to March 29, 2025, this route will increase to double daily during the winter schedule. These flights are operated with A350 aircraft, featuring 311 seats—28 in Business Smartium, 36 in Economy Smartium, and 247 in Economy Class.
Both flights from Malaysia and Singapore provide seamless connections to 59 destinations, including 7 domestic points in South Korea, 39 cities across Asia, 5 cities in the USA, 6 cities in Europe, and 2 cities in Oceania.

TAP PORTUGAL NOW AVAILABLE ON APG PLATFORM

TAP Air Portugal, the flag carrier of Portugal, is now available in the APG Platform, APG’s NDC portal. Under this agreement, APG Platform and TAP Portugal provide a full ticketing solution for more than 1500 travel agencies in 120 countries. It includes the possibility to book, issue, void, refund, and add ancillary services, such as bags, specific equipment, priority boarding and special meals, on the entire TAP network.
