Job description
We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to support the commercial development of Shandong Airlines in Malaysia.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role focuses on growing sales revenue, strengthening relationships with travel agents and corporate partners, and expanding the airline’s presence in the local travel market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Expand the airline’s presence among travel agents, corporate accounts and key partners
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with travel trade and corporate clients
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer demand
- Provide commercial input on pricing, promotions and route performance
- Coordinate with APG Malaysia’s commercial team on sales and market development
- Work closely with marketing, operations and customer service teams
- Ensure compliance with airline and company commercial policies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the airline or travel industry
- Proven experience managing key accounts and developing new business
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently and manage sales targets
- Mandarin speaking and writing is required
- Good command of English

Job Summary
We are looking for a Reservation & Ticketing Executive to support Shandong Airlines’ reservation, ticketing, and operational activities in Malaysia.
This role is suited for candidates with hands-on experience in airline reservations and ticketing systems who are comfortable working with operational tasks, travel agents, and airline procedures.
Accuracy, system knowledge, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will:
- Handle airline reservations, ticketing, and customer enquiries for FIT and GIT bookings
- Issue tickets and manage booking changes, refunds, reissues, and rescheduling accurately
- Perform daily operational tasks including queue management, booking monitoring, and pre-flight checks
- Ensure ticketing procedures comply with airline policies and GDS requirements
- Support BSP reporting, ticket sales reconciliation, and operational data collection
- Coordinate with airline partners on fares, policies, schedules, and operational matters
- Resolve customer and travel agent enquiries professionally and within agreed timelines
- Assist in preparing sales, operational, and market reports when required
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with travel agents and airline partners
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Travel, Tourism, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in airlines, travel agencies, or ticketing operations
- Good knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing procedures
- Experience with BSP reporting, refunds, ticket reissues, and sales reconciliation
- Familiarity with airline reservation systems or GDS (e.g. Amadeus or Sabre)
- Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
- Good communication skills when dealing with travel agents and customers
- Mandarin speaking and writing is required
- Good command of English
